Inspired by the Iznik tile floral motifs, this work explores designs found across centuries in crafts like ceramics, waving, embroidery and lace. In this project my goal is to combine traditional lacemaking technique with modern materials, scaling up the work to highlight intricate movements of threads.

The work is made as a part of the Museum Masterclass for the Textile Festival 2026 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.
